The location is excellent, just a short walk to 86th Street, which offers plenty of shops and dining options. The hotel's proximity to the R line on 86th Street is convenient, as it's literally across the road.
The room was satisfactory, albeit a bit small, with minimal space between the end of the bed and the TV stand/dresser.
The bathroom, on the other hand, was pleasantly spacious with a large walk-in shower.
Unfortunately, the fridge was quite loud, which was bothersome when trying to sleep.
The walls are thin, allowing for clear sound transmission from adjacent rooms, and the floorboards above were extremely creaky. Additionally, there was a person above us who seemed to be moving around at odd hours of the night, although their activities were unclear.
Due to a flight delay, we requested a check-out extension, but were only granted an additional 30 minutes. While I understand that hotels aren't obligated to provide extensions, it would have been appreciated if they had offered a longer one, especially considering the room wasn't scheduled for immediate rebooking, as confirmed by the receptionist's suggestion that we could pay for an extra night.
Tip: The air conditioning controls are located underneath the lid of the radiator near the window, which took us two days to discover as there were no signs indicating their location.
