I have booked 3 rooms using Expedia and when I reached in evening got to know only 1 room was booked. Person at reception instead of providing any help he clearly said he cant help us and asked me to contact expedia people. Finally I got 2 more rooms that were under maintenance.
Person at reception should understand evening time and it was raining there should try to help customers. he can see I was coming from bangalore and girls are with us how we can manage something and hotel is situated far away from city
whilst planning the trip we very much wanted to see the tea plantations. This hotel though is nearly 30km's from Munnar town itself therefore very isolated.
It is predominantly a UK version of Butlins for the Indian market. A lot of large families and kids running around the hotel.
Rooms were tired looking and badly in need of refurb. Ended up cutting our stay short by one day.

Excellent experience nestled amidst tea gardens, mountains ,forest, waterfalls at a superb height .get the top of the world feeling.A swimming pool so strategically placed at a height giving an awesome feeling of being in space.
very peaceful with very pleasing staff and manager.
Certainly a great place if you want to experience nature at its purest! Living among the clouds and pristine green hills are probably Indias alternative to the rainforest experience. The hotel has no Tv for all those of us addicted to the box. However after a few days without the modern influences (place has poor mobile networks; so you stay undisturbed) one certainly is refreshed and recharged. Maybe requires a better menu since the dinner was ok and could be better. However to get around one must certainly get a self drive car too; which is a great way to explore places around at your pace and convenience. Have seen almost all hotels in the area. This is one of the best without doubt.

We had booked 3 rooms in advance at this hotel for our trip to Munnar. On arrival we found out that they cannot give us the assigned rooms as there was a water leak and 1 hallway was not usable. They offered to give us 1 room and give 2 rooms at another hotel across the street that was not the save quality place. Alternatively they said they could give us 2 rooms and have extra beds in the big room. We took that option. We had only seen the big room first. The second room assigned to us may have been a spare that the hotel staff uses - the interior was different, makeshift place. The bathroom was really a kitchen with black counters and rectangular sink! Water was leaking when we tried to use the hand held shower! When we complained about our experience the next day the person at the checkin desk had a blank look and kept talking about the water leak that caused the issue. He refused to acknowledge that he should be compensate us for the room we did not get, or in kitchen we were assigned to use as a shower! The manager was to come at 11am at at 8:30 in the morning he was offering nothing but some spices! After trying to talk to him to 30mins, a PR person came and helped matters.
