“excellent hotel”

The hotel was excellent!The ambience was inviting;the staff-from reception clerks,bar and restaurant staff to house keepers,were all very friendly,charming and very helpful.The reception lounge in particular,was comfortable and quiet-ideal for sitting around and reading a news paper or planning your day's adventure!

This hotel is ideal if you're on a short stay and just want explore the sights. I have to say we were a little disappointed by the travel desk lady. She gave us a price and said parking would be extra which we accepted. As it turned out the driver used all the freeparking when stopping at the sights. When he dropped us off he said no extras and thanked us appreciatively for the tip. When we went to settle the bill, there were significant paking fees added. We attempted to argue the point, but realised we were on a deadline for the airport so decided to drop it. So be warned. Settle with her before you go and leave yourself enough time at check-out to challenge. Other than this little incident, it is a good hotel.
