Lovely area and property. The hotel is a bit worn but they are doing some renovations. Hotel staff very helpful. Great restaurant that was very accomodating to special requests.

This place has seen better days. This place is good if you just need a place to crash for the night, but as a destination for enjoyment or relaxing, don't do it. We thought the place was abandon when we first pulled up. My biggest issue was no HOT water in the shower or sink... at times you might get lucky and get some hot water for a shower, but others in our party had to take a cold shower... which is no fun! The bar was cool and poured a nice drink for a great price! We stayed here after skiing at Lee Canyon Resort, easy drive if there is no snow on the ground.

The sofa bed and additional couches in the room were not clean. The sofa bed, was like lumpy rocks…designed by cavemen. Overpriced. I’ve stayed in more modern, clean and sophisticated places at better pricing.

We unfortunately got a family next door with very noisy kids that you could here through the walls all night long. then at 6am the people above us were up and seem to be rearranging furniture and being very loud as well. place was good for price but a bit outdated.

Located in beautiful location and staff was friendly. However, facility is poorly maintained and there is evidence of it everywhere you look, distracting you from an otherwise pleasant stay.

My stay at The Retreat on Charleston Peak was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time staying there, and I instantly fell in love with the place. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience, providing excellent service at every turn. I felt genuinely welcomed and embraced by the warm hospitality throughout my stay. I would easily give them 5 stars for their exceptional service and the overall delightful atmosphere they created. It was truly a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Steps to upper floors have prodruding pieces of non skid that are potential trip hazards. Sinks are too low in rooms. Pretty views from property. Quiet in our 3rd floor room even when hotel was full. Do not like Apple TV.

Loved the rustic ambience in the perfect mountainous surroundings. Staff was great and accommodating... Highly recommend room with a balcony!

like the surroundings and quietness, good place to do hiking, scenery. did not like the fact that there is no elevator, and this is a 3-story place so inconvenient for elderly people or for anyone trying to move the luggage around. in addition, there is only one restaurant with limited menu choices.

great place to stay for skiing or just a nice nature retreat! the staff was wonderful, especially matthew! the bar & bar tender were great too... and don't forget to get a meal at the canyon restaurant onsite, really good food & service. we had a blast at the resort! it would be nice if they had a couple of jacuzzi's onsite, but maybe next year, lol. thanks for the hospitality!

My family stayed here for the weekend and the rooms were ok. They seem pretty outdated and we couldn’t use the tv because there was no Apple TV remote. The shower took ages to warm up and our night stand was sticky. We chose to eat at the buffet they had set out and it was not great. The food was already cold and the buns for the burgers and the pasta was already hard from sitting out. It was unfortunate because we had AMAZING food here before. But of all this we can always say the staff is amazing. Always super nice, respectful, and will help you with anything you need. They were short staffed while we were here so we didn’t really have a qualms besides the food quality and a sticky night stand. For the price and the awesome staff we would stay again.

the bedsheets in the were not cleaned, bathtub was not healthy for anyone to sit -i was up all night itching, it was pretty bad that i left early morning to home, food was not up to the quality, and they charged alot for seems like boxed food or something at the resturant

The location and views are amazing! The property exterior is decently well kept. Good restaurant and food options along with a great bar. Kim(?) at the bar and Matthew at the front desk were great! The rooms, furnishing, bathrooms and fixtures are super dated and could use updates. Overall, an ok stay .

Convenient access to the mountains and snow. The water took awhile to warm in morning, the carpet in the room is worn and old. The bathroom could’ve used a second wiping. The lobby is really nice, roomy and airy with classic Lodge Decor.

The customer service here was literally amazing. The best I’ve ever had. The concierge offered to light the fire place in our room and it was so nice and cozy and it really made our night. It was a magical stay for us.

Restaurant overcharged $25 for cold food. Food is very basic and expensive. Personnel is friendly and rooms are okay. I recommend you bring your own food before coming up here.
