I gave this an overall 1 star review due to a bad experience I’ve encountered.
We stayed here for one night after watching a concert, we’ve stayed at many hotels before and this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve had. Due to staying late overnight, we woke up late and since check out is at 11, and we won’t be ready until 1115-1130, we called the front desk and informed them. They said it was ok. 11:10, housekeeping knocked and asked us if we were checking out and we told them that we called guest services and we should be out by 11:30. At 11:20 we got a call in our room, informing us that if we wanted to stay, there will be a fee. Informed her that we called and they did not mention any charges plus it was only 30 mins pass the check out time. Crystal started raising her voice and stated that it doesn’t matter and there will still be a charge. This woman was very unprofessional. First of all, she’s probably from housekeeping and she should have confirmed with front desk if we were staying instead of calling us directly. Second, the nerve of her to call 5 mins before we leave to let us know that we should have been charged. Third, most hotel has a grace period of at least 30 mins to an hour after check out without any problem especially when they are not busy. Which they were not. This hotel is not even a five star hotel and I guess they are desperate to get money, in any way possible. Will not be coming back!!!
