"I had a great one-night stay at the Whitehall. The room was well-appointed and very comfortable. The hotel is run by Sotherly and they had some nice touches - lemon cookies in the room, a veteran-focused foundation that they make you aware of, etc. The 1st floor bar, with an outside space, looked awesome. I just didn't have time to visit. The location is fine - a little on the outer edge of that side of downtown. I was close to my venue, so it was perfect for me. The only thing to note is that one side of the hotel is facing the highway. If you are sensitive to outdoor noises, you'll want to request a room that is not on that side. I sleep pretty hard, so didn't notice it until I woke up."

"One night staycation for my kids while I attended a work event. It was our first time. The kids (6 & 10) absolutely enjoyed the free popcorn in the lobby, the pool, and Texas shaped lazy river. You can order room service, but pick up from the lobby to save a few bucks. After swimming, we took the kids across the street to Discovery Green to play. "

"Property was organized and cleanliness. Key card is helpful for securing entrances. My favorite is the rooftop to overlook the Houston skyline, and indoor pool with a jacuzzi. However, the only negative experience I encountered is paying approximately $40 including taxes for parking for each vehicle if you are a guest for a hotel. Overall, it was an amazing experience."
