"Place was very affordable but there were small indicators that cleanliness was not up to par. There were loose dark brunette hairs in the bathroom and shower that were obviously not ours, (we have blonde hair) and the security door latch was missing. The room did not match the advertised photos on the website but other than cleanliness and the door latch missing, the room was very very affordable and worked in a pinch."

"This was a good location for the price. It’s an older hotel, and could use some TLC. The AC in our room was great. It was fairly quiet on the property. Staff was friendly. Not much hot water in our room, but this was good for a place to lay our heads overnight after a concert. "

"The room was ok. Besides the carpet feeling kind of damp and sticky, everything seemed really clean. The bed made me feel like I was sleeping on rocks, but they were clean and nicely made. The receptionist was sweet but spoke really quietly, so I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. All in all, it was a decent stay. "

"this was a one night stay while we were in town. The front desk man was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. Our room was quiet and comfortable. There was a grab and grow breakfast because they are working on the dining area or some other issue. The hotel is very easy to find and in a convenient location. It is also pet friendly."

"Couple of dead flies in the corner of the room. Saw 2 live cockroaches over 4 days, clearly dazed from insecticide because they didn't try to run. Some mold on the bathroom walls but shower head and floor were clean. Room door does not fully seal, small amount of rain pooled on the floor as a result. You can hear all of the highway traffic too but the hotel is literally right off I-35 so that's to be expected. Had to ask for new room key after 2 nights when it suddenly stopped working. Staff...

"I liked the pool and how close it was to the ocean. I did not like the smell of the room (mildew) or the dirtiness of the carpet. "
