"Nice hotel, close to cruise port and old Barcelona"
This hotel has unique charm. It is simple yet clean and close to lots to see. Only complaint is that the façade is covered with scaffolding for work that seems to be at a standstill. Therefore, the entrance is very uninviting. It appears to have been there a long time. The staff were all excellent. Friendly, helpful, and informative.
Will recommend to others and will again. An easy walk to both the cruise ships as well as the Aerobus stop.
prime location close to las rambles. modern, quirky hotel. lovely modern terrace to sit on.all the rooms we used were individually styled. reception staff were very friendly and helpful. we would definitely recommend the hotel to friends - and will stay there again in the future.
The first room they gave us was horribly depressing but the second room was very nice and sunny. I think the hotel possibly has quite a few "standard" rooms that face an air shaft. Otherwise it was lovely except for the lack of any drawers for underwear or anything else. The TV had good English speaking channels.

We stayed for three nights in the loft suite, which was very superbly comfortable. The staff were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is on a busy road, but don't be put off by this, the double glazing keeps all noise out and the air con keeps the room cool. The hotel is very centrally located and is close to the stops for the tourist buses.
We had a fantastic 4 course meal in the restaurant, which was vey reasonably priced, and the sky bar has fantastic views of the city. The sky bar is for residents only in the early evening and is a relaxing place to have a drink before dinner.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
This hotel is fantastically located across from the cathedral. Busy during the day, quiet (but not scary quiet) at night. I had a terrace overlooking the cathedral square, which was huge. Bigger than many hotel rooms I have stayed in. The room itself was OK. Tub with jets was a nice surprise. But the furniture seemed a bit dated and a coffee machine would have been great. Also the TV had no English channels and a small screen relative to the distance between the TV and the bed. Then again, you're in Barcelona, get out and enjoy!
It's a nice hotel and I would come back in a heartbeat if just for the terrace and the prime location
It is a chain hotel and close to the centre. From the metro take the St Pere exit and it's the road 2 up on the right. The staff speak good English although there are only two staff members on at any one time
