"This is a great place to stay if wanting to explore the Royal Mile. Everything is within walking distance. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but well furnished. Many pubs, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. We took the airport bus to St Andrew’s stop then walked 5-10min to the hotel. It made transfers easy and affordable. "

"The hotel was very good actually in the airport terminal. Pleasant room , good big teeny. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, the food was appalling, we had fish and chips, £16.00 plus 12.5% service. The fish was unidentifiable, but certainly not cod or haddock, however there was only a sliver of it around 4oz would think, there was loads of uncooked batter, the peas were cold, and the chips skin on. We would stay again, but we wouldn’t use the restaurant. We had an early flight, but...

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"
