"The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were also really nice and even did a wash load of clothes for us for $10. There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. Food and drinks are good and the service excellent. Once you enter the hotel, the bustle of Colombo completely disappears. Amazing value for money. "

"We stayed here on two separate occasions. We found the desk staff very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We would like to see the hotel remove the small plastic cups of water in the room and replace with a filtered water fountain on each floor. Overall a good place to stay and very close to The Ministry of Crab. With regards to the restaurant, it is a tacky, bleak environment with awful food for breakfast.
