Roshana the lady at reception was friendly and accommodating. I turned up at 11pm steaming and was offered sherry which helped me sleep! She was so nice and made the stay all that more special. Special compliments to her. Peter

Great hotel with superb staff! Unfortunately the water supply was lost during the last two days of our stay. No showers or toilets working - the staff did all they could to help.

Absolutely stunning view of the harbor! The staff is incredible from reception to housekeeping. Our room was ready early and they were so kind and helpful. The hotel is located just above what Sauvers, which became our favorite restaurant from the first night. Definitely recommend the boat company whale tour if you have a chance. Just across the street at cafe Pescado we had one of the best burgers (house made patties). We will definitely recommend to anyone and look forward to coming back.

Great staff!!
The hotel itself is ideally located and the staff are super helpful and can’t do enough for you. What let’s it down is the state of disrepair, particularly the fact that the key card machine is broken so every time you want to access your room a member of staff has to let you in.

Had a lovely one night stay at Simon's Town Quayside Hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the dock where all tours leave from - kayaking, shark diving, etc. - as well as several restaurants. Staff was friendly upon arrival and room was comfortable with a view of the harbor.

Lovely little hotel with ocean views.
Loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the two lovely ladies on reception. The room was modern and ours had a balcony with great views over the ocean. It's located right in the centre of Simon's Town with lots of restaurants and cafes very close. A 5 minute drive to Boulders beach where you can see all the penguins. Definitely recommend and pay the little extra for the balcony room.

Perfect small hotel with amazing staff.
From the minute we arrived we were greeted by wonderful staff. Their friendly professional attitude was just delightful. The room we had was with a balcony and couldn’t be better. Views to love. I really can’t rate this place higher and 80% was due to perfect staff. Thank you, we will return.

The view is incredible. The staff so wonderful and on top of everything. The lovation is incredible. The furniture in the room was old and worn. The bed was quite hard. There was no hot water pressure in the shower on our floor (3).

Great getaway!
Loved our stay! The room was nice and the view was very lovely of the harbor! The staff was incredibly accommodating and fun to interact with! Even gave us special honeymoon bottle of wine and treats! We did see a baboon on the deck which was an added bonus! :) highly recommend!

Beautiful Simon's Town retreat.
Very nice place, excellently located for all Simon's Town's attractions. The harbour is a stunning view. The beds are very comfortable and the room nicely appointed. Highly recommend. There are plenty of restaurants nearby serving all day and the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Boulder's Beach for the penguins

Nice stay but twin beds not ideal.
We had a nice stay at aha Simon's Town. The rooms were clean and had the usual toiletries and water you would expect, and the breakfast downstairs was good. The only issue about our stay was we booked a double room via Hotels.com (selecting either double or 2 x single beds at checkout) which was just a preference. When we arrived, there were only twin rooms available. To add more confusion, the hotel's own literature in the room says that all rooms have kingsize beds? More clarification needed over beds and just to make aware you may get twin beds when booking double.

This place was nice but shows much nicer in photos. We were somewhat disappointed when we arrived as it was pretty old/dingey. Our mountain view room had all old windows that rattled so loudly all night, and the a/c unit is way too small for the room. The people were lovely though and it's a great location.

I have a sometimes unfortunate habit of just searching for major chains when I'm looking for hotels. Having strayed from this on occasions I have found some outstanding places on my travels particularly the Pavilion in Cambodia and Bodhi Serene in Chiang Mai. Now adding this place to my list. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms overlooking the quay side. Fabulous views, Rooms are well equipped with some nice extras, clean and comfortable

Excellent Hotel
The hotel was very clean and the room was plenty big and updated. The location can’t be beat, right on the water and short walking distance from anywhere in town. The breakfast was included, delicious and was provided by the restaurant below. The staff were all very friendly and willing to go above and beyond. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

The Hotel is right on the water at the marina. The views of the boats coming and going were fantastic. The morning breakfast was fabulous with a cook ready to make omelets and more! There are shops and restaurants on either side and across the street. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and we had a very safe and restful stay. We would definitely recommend it!

It was a a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and was a pleasure to stay there without any problems. A wonderful quiet surrounding right by the sea. The breakfast at the Saveur Restaurant was outstanding.

Location was good. Lovely room. Attractive room excellent shower.. Hard pillows. Walking distance to Boulders Beach and penguins.
