“Great location”

Great location, near to centre yet in a quiet street. Clean, comfortable room, lovely staff and good breakfast. What more could you ask for?!

“not value for money”

Basically the under sheet had loads of black hairs on it, the top sheet was ripped, the toilet was on another floor, the phone in the room didnt work well at all and at first the reception told me 'it doesn't work at all', and i couldnt get the free wireless from the room either. The location is near to Heineken which was good. It was quiet at the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location for exploring Amsterdam. It is in a quiet street with no heavy traffic noise. Staff were pleasant and buffet style breakfast was great. On arrival, we paid cash to avoid any extra charges on our debit/credit card and there was a 50euros refundable deposit for the safe. Our room was very small and the two flights of stairs to it were 'so' steep! Would only recommend if you were very fit. Our room was just OK but could have done with a refurb and a good hoovering. We got clean towels on the second day (we stayed 4 nights). Had to share shower and toilet but that was no problem. Never had to wait and it was always clean.
