"The rooms were nice, quiet, clean and comfortable! Check-in is VERY annoying - of course, this is a casino so it’s laid out to make you walk through the slot machine area to get to the check in desk from self-parking. It was a long walk for my senior parents. There isn’t an area to unload your bags (they’re renovating an area apparently?) so we had to convince valet to let us unload in their area then self park. Once we were checked in, it was smoother sailing. Overall though, I’d recommend! "

"Wonderful staff and a beautiful property. We stayed in the bunkbed room which was perfect for two adults going to a concert. They even have little privacy curtains that you can pull closed, and outlets for both the top and bottom bunk. We grabbed a cocktail at the bar, Candy Bar which was beautiful but you absolutely need a reservation. Fantastic staff, Detroit has some of the best hospitality and every single person I talked to at the hotel was great. "

Conveniently had a small washer and dryer and a supply closet in the lobby to refill washer/dryer tabs and dishwasher pods. The location was great. The only minor issues were low water pressure in the shower intermittently...
