Ahmadabad Hotels

The hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of the old city of Ahmedabad. Within a 10 minute easy walk to the fine eatery at the MG House as well as the Sidi Saiyad Mosque and 7 minute rickshaw ride to the main train station. The rooms were clean with comfortable bed, really helpful and kind staff, acceptable room service food and very affordable.

My colleague and I stayed in the Lemon Tree Atrium hotel for over 3 weeks to do a research project in the city. The hotel was first class in every way and made our 'home from home' as pleasant a time as possible. The cafe was mostly great - we had breakfast every day and lunch/ dinner a number of times. There was extensive variety on the menu and the food was of a good quality. On our final evening, the whole team of hotel staff came out to wish us well. This was great - cake, a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly (as Gujarat is a dry state), gifts and free dinner. This was unexpected but such a lovely touch! The Lemon Tree staff seem to have a good working environment here and we peeped in on their Republic Day celebrations where everyone was having a good time - good to see rewards for staff too. All the staff made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.

Centrally located. Just opposite Gujarat college which is a good landmark when you want to take a taxi / auto rickshaw back to the hotel (hence easy to find). Decent size rooms. Clean. Staff very cordial. Although variety in breakfast is not exhaustive, there is something for every one's taste. Stayed with family and would stay here again.
