Best location for train traveller
This is the best location for the traveller who uses the train at Ahmedabad Railway Station. Just a five-minute walk from the hotel to the station. Very convenient.

It was near the Railway station ....all the major tourist attractions were just within a 10 km range ...the staff was very courteous and prompt in their service. Overall it is a good hotel for a short stay.

I loved that vasim, (the receptionist at the hotel), told me all the places to see near by and that he got me me a cab and a way to get everywhere i was going. They were all very helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is clean and comfy and the staff are very friendly and efficient, no complaints at all. The only issue you'll have is crossing the road of death from the railway station to the hotel....

Good Hotel but .lack of common sense
It was nice stay at RITZ INN this time as well except airport pick-up service which was not done due to late flight arrival and a driver was waiting for me 1 hour and half according to hotel manager's explanation (I think it was beyond my control.)Therefore I took an airport taxi to the hotewhich cost INR500 and no compensation and apology from hotel side.

Always a relaxed stay
Some of the furniture is a little threadbare and dated, but overall it was a very comfortable stay, and the 24 hour checkout was very handy because I arrived at 8pm and checked out at 8pm two days later for a 9pm bus. The breakfast buffet was varied and good quality for a medium range hotel.

Hotel Ritz Inn in Ahmedabad - cozy feel
The pluses: The lobby has a relatively cozy feel. The room sizes were good. Staff was also very good. Airport shuttle was good and quick. The minuses: Busy neighborhood - close to railway station so it can get noisy. Housekeeping needs a refresher. There was a mound of cigarette ash on carpet near bed. Shower is old but clean nonetheless. Little expensive for the money. I would recommend spending a little more and going with the Royal Orchid.

Hotel Ritz Inn - a modern Art Decco phoenix
This hotel is a very, very well designed and constructed building, with perfection in all details and choice of materials. In an environment which seems rather shabby, worn-down, but lively, it stands up as a Phoenix out of the ashes. Location very good for train travellers, not so interesting otherwise. Service is very fine. 24 hours check-out a rarity. When revisiting Ahmedabad, I would very much like to come back to this hotel.

Ritz Inn at Ahmadabad, India
This is a mixed feeling. The best part I enjoyed my stay there and the food was excellent. The bad part of They were supposed to pick me up from airport and surprisingly no one turned up. The waiters need to be polished when they approach customers in the dining hall. Otherwise it is excellent. I am a frequent visitor to this city and will be there for future stay.

An Art Deco gem in the heart of old Ahmedabad. Friendly and helpful staff, but with limited English proficiency. Good breakfast , newspaper delivered to your room every morning, in fact a very good value hotel.
