"After some of the reviews I read, I was not expecting a lot, but was pleasantly surprised. This hotel is a refurbish older structure that maintains its charm. This is not a modern North American hotel. If you want this, then expect to pay over double the price, if you can find it. Here you need to settle for an older building, narrow stairs (read: no elevator). But the staff are nice. Every day of our five night stay we had fresh towels, hot water, and an air-conditioning unit. The location is amazing. If you don't mind walking you are within 5 minutes of lots of food outlets, and the underground, and the embassy street. You can get to Kensington Palace within 10 minutes, and within an hour you can reach many famous tourist spots. Go out in the morning, see all the sites and get home to your hotel to collapse in a lovely bed. "
