"The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"It was a lovely place to stay, the host was great, answered all my questions and the place was very clean. A very safe residential neighborhood, the highway is a little bit away, but the ocean is closer and every day you can go out on your balcony/porch and watch the whales and the dolphins."

"If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

"If you want an experience and not a hotel, this is a good place to consider. Don’t complain if you wanted a Marriott; it’s not the Marriott. The hostess and host are kind and genuine. The lodging is nestled in a neighborhood, but it feels almost like a jungle. The shower is outside and is reasonably private. Don’t mind the geckos lingering nearby as you enjoy fresh fruit for breakfast."

"This location was the perfect spot for an off-the-beaten-path experience! It’s got a cafe, mini farm, hot tub/sauna, a nursery, and so much more. We only stayed one night in one of the cabins and it was excellent. You can hear the rains and the forest sounds right outside your window. The people there were also so friendly, inviting, and warm. "I stayed two nights in Wolfie One. It was like a private cabin in a tropical forest. It is one of four units in a single building each unit having one corner of the building. There is a parking space, a nice, covered porch outside the entry, then a living room, a bedroom and a bath. In the living room there is a small refrigerator, a coffee maker but no microwave. There is a TV and DVD player. Do read the small instruction card to learn how to turn on the cable box and the TV. The water is NOT potable but a jug of drinkable water is provided. I had to keep the bedroom door closed to keep the smoke detector quiet. The check-in desk is at the nearby but separate Ace Hardware store which is unusual but workable. I had breakfast at the nearby Kilauea Lodge; highly recommended. I also enjoyed Ohelo Cafe for lunch."
