Hawaii Hotels

I did not visit Maui to stay in my hotel room. After reading on the internet we booked a room at the Maui Seaside. It is not the newest hotel on the island, but, the service was excellent, the conditions were excellent, the cleanliness was excellent. I cannot say more about how pleases I was with my room. It was spotless every day. The hotel is family owned and run, and they all do an excellent job at maintaining the grounds, pool, rooms,...everything! I truly appreciated the kindness of the owners. They went out of their way to make sure my stay of 12 days in Maui was perfect. Thank you Maui Seaside Hotel!!

Spent a week here for my honeymoon. The area was gorgeous. Wonderful snorkel location in black rock. Great location. It is within walking distance of good restaurants and a shopping center. Staff was very friendly. Organized some of my activities through the concierge and they were wonderful. It was just such a great experience. Great luau too.

Everything about this resort was warm and inviting. I loved being able to wake up each morning to the sound of birds and the stunning scenery. This hotel is right on the beach and while there are signs posted that you probably shouldn't get in the water (strong current, drop off, etc.) many people, myself included, ventured out and had an amazing time. The current is strong so I can say from experience that the sign isn't there to keep you from having fun; it could potentially be dangerous. I definitely wouldn't let small children very close. Don't let that detour you though as every other hotel we walked by on the walkway had similar signs. There were 4 crystal clear pools in which to swim in though as well as two slides for the kids (or you if you're feeling adventurous). One of the pools is for adults only and has a bar which is especially nice if you're there to be with your spouse or feel like having time away from the kids. I absolutely loved the waterfalls and the animals that called Westin home. I look forward to returning!

Hiked to Diamond Head first day as it was so close and surfing Wikiki is a breeze because the beach is acrss the street. Don't miss the pool and spaon the 4th floor of the talles tower.

Staying at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach was likely my overall best experience with a hotel that I've ever had. I will not stay at any other hotel on Oahu when I return. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All three restaurants on property are good. We walked through an other Outrigger Hotel down the beach a little way from us, and I was a little surprised and disappointed that it was also an Outrigger, because where we were staying seemed so much better.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable and had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony

Staff was friendly. The location was perfect. We rented a car to get around the whole island but if you plan on staying in just Kona, no car is necessary. We were there for our anniversary so they upgraded us to an ocean front room and it was incredible. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for my taste, but everything else about the hotel was great. It is an older hotel and could use a few upgrades but nothing that takes away from the experience. I would recommend this hotel and I would book again here.
