This is our second time at the Finest and it was excellent. Love it because they are designed for families with children (toddlers). Loved that they have a baby gym, areas for each range of ages.

The staff was great, especially our butler Margie and the beach attendant Daihana. The upgrade to the Palladium Premium Experience was worth it. Our rooms were nice, just a short walk to the beach and the pool. Our butler even arranged for a surprise for us in our room on our last night there. The spa and the services offered were nice as well. The massage was very relaxing. The restaurants (Kusko, Chic, El Dorado) were great. Chic cabaret show was fun. Tentazione was the only miss, the wait for the food was very long and only the orzo dish was good among the ones we tried. We would say the big negative experience was due to the “selling” aspect of the resort. They try to invite you to a “presentation” for the palladium travel club inder the pretense of a “tour of the property” to show you what they have to offer. It felt like a timeshare selling and we opted not to stay for it. Also, there were staff around the resort that were approaching us who were selling services (spa, massages, tours). We would have preferred it if they waited for the customers to come up to them IF they were interested in any of the services. Even at the beach side there were peddlers coming up selling tours, photo ops with parrots, hair braiding. Overall it was a good experience for our family.

Beautiful if you don't look too closely. Pools are plentiful and appears clean but they're not. Room service is limited for non-privliege guests, el mercado buffet is very limited, snack hut on el beso side is disappointing. If you're going to offer savory crepes, then make them right! I got a warm plain crepe and 5 mozzarella balls with cherry tomatoes on the side as "the caprese". I assumed the mozarella would be melted within the crepe...it was not. The sad tacos they offered one day tasted like last night's leftovers....hard tortillas, overcooked beef and veggies. Servers not welcoming either. Didn't seem to like being there. I understand it's hot, but do your job if you expect a tip. I'm not tipping for attitude. Junior rooftop suite was nice though. Lovely private space, great for nude tanning! Minibar not consistently stocked. Had to call thrice during my 2 week stay to inquire. Guest services....i don't understand their function. I did not find them helpful and actually they called my room 3 times and whatsapped me twice to ask about my experience but did nothing to improve it. Despite advertising airport shuttle service, they actually mean they'll call a $70 taxi for you. Save yourself the hassle and make your own transportation arrangements. Lesson for the future! Pool bar and service were good. Ocean not accessible due to the mountains of sargassum. Nature can't be stopped, but comp your guests since we're losing access to a main attraction of your resort.
