Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling Darjeeling.

Overall did the job, not exceptional but friendly staff always helpful. A little out of town but incredible views of the Himalayas. Breakfast was not a buffet for some reason, and no fridge/mini bar in room.

This property is wildly misrepresented. The photos and listing on Expedia are misleading at best. The hotel was hard to access, the sheets and towels were visibly dirty, and there was no soap provided in the room. Worst of all, the pillows were covered in black mold—a serious health hazard that should warrant immediate closure. The Wi-Fi barely functioned, and the overall condition of the hotel suggests complete disregard for cleanliness or guest safety. This is not a 3-star experience by any stretch. Avoid this property at all costs.
