Lower Matecumbe Key Scuba Diving Holidays

The first room I received had severe black mold - you could smell it and see it along the walls. They had put a de-humidifier in the room but the smell was incredibly strong and without a doubt sleeping in that room would cause health problems. They were accommodating and got me another room on a higher floor but my concern is that if one room is that ridden with black mold that the air vents likely have it too. The walls have fresh paint and wallpaper but one has to wonder if there’s mold hiding under it. Location is great and staff was very nice. The owners/management should just take the mold issue very seriously.

The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Plus, the hotel was impeccably clean, which is always a huge plus. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an enjoyable getaway.
