$40 for 24 hours with valet in / out was well worth what we needed. Excellent location - most gracious hotel reception staff. Allowed us to enter early for our 24 hour stay. Delightful lady ( Isadella?) Very comfortable accommodations with nice touches in hotel — sounds simple but is always nice to see - eg water in fridge, correct channel guide for tv, hot water!

Never had the room serviced, had to call house keeping to receive fresh towels. Also had a lamp missing its chandelier.

Well-appointed room! Spacious layout with high quality finishes. The staff went above and beyond showing the highest level of hospitality. Cannot recommend The Nickel enough.

Clean room and close to shops and restaurants

This Place checked all the boxes; excellent service, great food, location, amenities and most comfortable beds & bedding ever. This is the finest hotel in South Carolina, not to mention their secret connection with sister property The Cooper! This is my home away from home in Charleston!

Absolutely loved this stay in downtown Charleston. Perfect location to restaurants and shopping. The afternoon tea at Camelia’s and the rooftop pool really sets this 5 star property apart from the others. 10 out of 10 stay.

We loved our stay at The Ryder Hotel—it is a super cute and conveniently located hotel. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are great, and the staff is very helpful. My one piece of advice is to get to the pool early if you want a lounge chair as it is pretty small and fills up quickly!
