Stayed at the Rio for the first time and I was impressed of how clean their hotel was. There weren’t enough front desk reps which was the only bad thing because there was a huge line. But as we walked to our room the hallway carpets were clean and it didn’t have any unpleasant smell. Our room was big and very clean we had a great view. The couch is a sleeper couch so that was awesome. The cleaning ladies were very kind and gave us extra towels and toilet paper. The pools were nice 4 pools to choose from; there was a lot of people and very kid friendly. I honestly enjoyed it.

Extremely disappointing stay at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino. I was charged twice for the same reservation — once through Expedia ($140.40) and again directly by the hotel ($212.36). I also never received the $50 credit that was supposed to be applied. The rate I ended up paying was significantly higher than what was shown on the website at the time of booking. Check-in was a nightmare. I waited over an hour in line just to get to the front desk. Worst of all, after finally getting into the room I found a piece of meat on the floor/surface. I have video evidence of it. Between the double charges, missing credit, excessive wait time, and the hygiene issue in the room, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I am requesting a full refund of both charges.
