Lovely staff, shame about the rude and noisy Indians

Booked a king deluxe suite with partial ocean view and small pool/bathtub on balcony based on pictures on Expedia. Room was much different, no view and nothing on balcony. Front desk staff told me the online pictures are wrong and I got the right room.

1. Too many mosquitos in the room, did bite both of us 2. One afternoon there were no Swimming towel available, no apologies by the staff, instead she seemed disturbed when I questioned the unavailability 3. Not professional dealing and no sign of communication in English for a 4 star hotel 4.Lift wasn't functional for sometime one day 5. Renovation interruption- some of the rooms were being renovated including the one opposite to ours, stuff outside and smell of colour all over the room entrance 6. Cleanliness in shower and toilet is very much questionable 7.Free shuttle is not as simple as it advertised, needs to be transparent 8. Our main door lock was hard to open from inside, jammed 9. No shampoo first 2days and only one shower cap was provided each time for two of us. This shouldn't be experienced in a 4-star hotel. Only good view and a good swimming pool cant be enough to justify their poor maintenance

Staff were amazing. Special thanks to Chika from accommodating the check-in, issue with a neighbor room and helping us find a taxi last minute. She went above and beyond to help us and we are very grateful for that. Also the spas are super cool and unique. Totally recommend booking this hotel.

The staff is fantastic! The property Awesome and beautiful!! The rooms are villa style each on a hill going down to the beach!! The pool is beautifuland the whole setting!! We came back afyer going to Phi Phi and they store our luggage, we had a Welcome back towel gift on the bed (so thoughtful). Food is delicious! Just be aware that there are stairs everywhere because of the hill but that is what makes it beautiful!! One of the best hotels we stayed in our South East Asia trip!!

The room design is amazing. The toilet, vanity area, and giant shower are semi-outdoors with swinging glass doors and then continuous with a deck/glass infinity balcony pool with glass wall into the room. Quiet, spacious, very well appointed room. Staff is very friendly and always in hand. Roof top infinity pool with lounge chairs and bar service. Amazing hotel.
