Luxury with a Heart We had an absolutely wonderful stay at SALT of Palmar. Everything, from the food to the accommodation was truly five-star, and the level of service consistently exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were exceptional and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every guest had the best possible experience. One of the highlights of our trip was the privilege of visiting a local school for students with disabilities, supported by the hotel. The school caters to children as young as five through to young adults, and the work being done there is genuinely inspiring. The hotel’s support goes far beyond simple donations—they have helped furnish spaces such as a music room and contribute to practical life skills training, including making beds, setting cutlery, laundry, and more. Their fitness coach also visits regularly to support sporting activities. What stood out most was how modest the hotel is about these efforts—you wouldn’t know about this incredible work unless you spoke to the manager. It’s definitely worth asking about if you visit. There was absolutely no pressure to contribute, but like many schools, they are always in need of resources and equipment. If you are planning a stay, it may be worthwhile bringing along items such as stationery, toys, or other useful supplies. Monetary contributions are also welcomed, but entirely optional. Our 2nd visit to this hotel as we found it great value for a fun and also relaxing family holiday. We loved the Beach location where you wander straight down from the hotel - and enjoy your all Inclusive drink here too. Sit and relax with gorgeous view of the ocean or take a dip in the crystal clear Sea. Blue Bay is such a perfect spot for snorkelling , straight from the shore you can see the marine life . We loved spotting all the fish, my daughter favourite being the 'Minecraft fish' (box fish). Also make sure to take advantage of the complimentary glass bottom boat trip further out into the Bay. The staff were fantastic, from check in to The Bar servers, waiting team in the restaurant and cleaning crew . Many of the servers recognised us from previous years and were once again friendly and helpful. They particularly took time with the Kids to ensure they were happy! The Hotel manager also took time to sit with us and talk about how we were enjoying the holiday. Mostly I have to mention the Club Coralia entertainment team, Yoan & Emmanuelle who absolutely made the holiday! Their efforts and enthusiasm which is recognised a genuine passion for what they do gave the kids the most wonderful experiences and memories they will cherish forever. Nothing was too much for them and they constantly went out their way to ensure the kids (and grown ups) were having a good time- even happily being chased and pushed fully clothed into the pool! The room was old. The staff was impolite in a few cases. We did not like the breakfast buffet at all.

La Pirogue is one of the loveliest hotels in the world! A well-balanced mix of laid-back island charm, with professionalism, friendliness, fun activities and the best hotel food you will find anywhere (mix of authentic local and themed international, always something for everyone and a classy pastry section straight out of Paris!). The grounds are picturesque and immaculate, whilst the staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. Cannot recommend La Pirogue highly enough!

We had a really good stay at LUX* Grand Gaube and overall it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. The setting of the resort is honestly beautiful and gives a very relaxed vibe throughout the property. It never feels crowded and you can actually switch off properly here. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful without it feeling forced. Overall attitude across the resort was very welcoming. Food was another strong point. There are quite a few dining options and most of them are well done. The one place I would specifically call out is INTI—it’s a must try and definitely not to be missed. Really good experience there and easily one of the highlights of the stay. Rooms are comfortable. Nothing over the top, but everything you need is there and the views definitely add to it. Overall, it’s a solid luxury resort with a great location, good food, and a very easy, relaxed feel to the whole place. Would happily recommend it.
