A Truly Memorable Stay – Warm, Welcoming, and So Worth It! My fiancé and I came from Canada and stayed two nights at Crystal Beach Resort Bellemare in December 2023 and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the warm welcome to the incredible service, everything was exceptional. The food was fresh and varied, the drinks were great, and the entire staff from reception, housekeeping and restaurant made us feel genuinely cared for. As Mauritians living abroad, we were deeply touched by how respectfully we were treated just like any international guest. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience at every hotels we’ve been in Mauritius, but this hotel made us feel truly seen, welcomed, and appreciated. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the heated pool was the cherry on top. We felt completely relaxed and on vacation. I loved it so much that we gifted a stay to my parents a 2 nights all-inclusive stay. It was their first-ever hotel getaway and they were absolutely glowing with happiness the entire time! If you’re looking for a peaceful, genuine, and high-quality stay in Mauritius, whether you’re local or visiting from abroad, we can’t recommend this hotelenough. We’ve already started recommending it to our friends and colleagues in Canada who are thinking about visiting Mauritius! Pool was amazing but

I was in Mauritius for work and booked this hotel an hour before I checked in without really researching it at all. It was superb. I stayed for 2 nights all-inc. The staff were lovely - polite but also fun to talk to. I had an amazing massage in the spa (by Cedric). I took a hobbie cat out and spent a morning zipping up and down the bay (though got told off for staying out too long!!!). Meals were decent for the price, though two nights didn’t qualify me for the a la carte restaurants, the buffet was fine. I really liked the bar and the huge selection of cocktails. The room was spot on. It had a fan so you don’t always have to use the air con, the tuck shop concept was great (you go to the counter and they just give you what you want with soft drinks, beers, tea, ground coffee, milk etc). There are a few feline staff members and one liked to snooze on my balcony - never tried to come in the room though. Excellent wifi throughout the resort, even on the beach. If you stay after check out time you can book showers.

Pool was amazing but

The junior wellness suite was absolutely everything we could have wished for . Beautiful view and well equipped. The hotel was spotless and staff worked endlessly to keep it looking super tropical and inviting. The ambience of the entire site was one of relaxation , calm and happiness. The water sports facilities were amazing and included in our stay. We tried everything! Food exceptional with great variety. Every single member of the Lux team was kind, attentive and could not do enough for us. Stand outs were Kevin in the Palm Court dining and bar area. On the adult beach we were super well looked after by Saif and Anch. These two were friendly, kind and very helpful. They gave us lots of information about Mauritius and kept us well stocked with drinks and towels. They truly stood out as exceptional with their natural ability in customer services . Thank you both. Taxis were easy and we did a tour of the island which showed us lots of points of interest around this beautiful and interesting island. It truly was paradise . Positive- The room was cleaned everyday. The young man was respectful and worked hard. The buffet restaurant had exceptional food. The manager outside in the patio area where the music was performed did an outstanding job, always responding to our requests kindly. Good service with the sack lunches- appreciated that the fruits were washed with filtered water. Negative- Horrible check in reception- waited for the room , 45 minutes, yet did not tell us. They did not tell us anything about the place- did not know about the free restaurants and did not know about the free liquor choices.

Wir waren als Paar im Constance Ephelia und hatten insgesamt eine wirklich schöne Zeit dort. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt, und zu unserer Überraschung bekamen wir direkt ein Upgrade auf ein größeres Zimmer. Das Zimmer war ruhig, sauber und komfortabel – ein sehr angenehmer Start in den Aufenthalt. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns der Service im Restaurant. Am Mittag des Vortages war ein bestimmtes Gericht, das wir bestellen wollten, leider nicht verfügbar. Das Team hat aber wirklich Alles unternommen, diesen Wunsch trotzdem möglich zu machen. Und tatsächlich: Am nächsten Abend wurde es uns serviert – sogar zusammen mit einem zweiten, passenden Gericht. Diese Extra-Aufmerksamkeit hat uns wirklich gefreut. Ein weiterer schöner Moment war, dass mir nachträglich noch ein Geburtstagskuchen aufs Zimmer gebracht wurde. Komplett unerwartet, und eine sehr nette Geste. Die Anlage selbst ist groß, schön gepflegt und bietet zwei Strände, die sich gut zum Entspannen eignen, Hiking Optionen und vieles mehr. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Insgesamt hatten wir einen entspannten und angenehmen Aufenthalt im Constance Ephelia. Das Zimmer-Upgrade, der persönliche Einsatz im Restaurant und vieles mehr haben den Besuch für uns besonders gemacht. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Walkable to the only “town” on Mahe. Great beach and perfect pool. Yummy breakfast. Great relaxing spa. 35 min to airport!
