"We stayed on the 3rd floor of a refurbished train station. The room was clean and the decor inventive. The dinner was well done and the owners gracious. One caveat is that the owners haven't yet put in an elevator and the 2 flights of stairs are the characteristically steep and narrow Dutch stairs."

With the canals and open fields, it was a serene place. The compoind includes campgrounds and the campers were very quiet and respectful. Hughly recommned! "

They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. "This property was beautiful and perfect for our family. It gave us space to share meals as well as having our own bedrooms. The owner was delightful - very friendly and helpful. The steps are very steep, however, which is typical of Dutch properties so be mindful if this is going to be a problem for you. The house is easily accessible and within walking distance to Schiedam as well as shops and dining options. We used a taxi from the train station. Can’t wait to be back and to stay here...

"Lovely place with a great sized room and very easy to commute to and from into Amsterdam. Good set of amenities! Very easy to go upstairs and grab food or drinks too if you want. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. For 3 guests in one room, a nice touch would be a small chest of drawers somewhere maybe for clothes. "
