"This is a bait and switch. The bait is the beautiful castle in the main picture but the rooms are actually located in a separate motel looking building. It is implied that the accommodation is in the castln, we were very disappointed that the castle is only for tricking us to go there. Dishonest! Gave three stars (that is very generous) because the grounds look nice (there is a beautiful castle 600ft / 200 meters away) and the breakfast was good."

"The hotel location is very good for accessing the train and bus stations at Leiden, also by an short walk to central Leiden, which is very interesting. Room, facing the railway, was very quiet and well insulated for noise. The Luggage Room was very useful before and after our use of the room. We didn't eat at the hotel, so can't comment on that aspect. Staff were always helpful."

"We travelled to Amsterdam and chose this hotel because it's a short train ride to the city, and more affordable and quaint. The location was very convenient - a three minute walk from Leiden Central station. While the room was ready when we arrived, we were charged $10 euros/hour to access it early. I feel like this was a simple money grab, but we were happy to drop our bags off and explore the city! Our room was incredibly clean and spacious. While we didn't need the room cleaned while there, the team was great at making sure we had our coffee replenished. We were happy to see a windmill, immediately outside of our window. We were short walks to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store for supplies - although there was no fridge in the room (staff graciously gave us a jug of ice each night, either for drinks in the room, or to keep food chilled). I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Leiden or Amsterdam!!! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did not eat breakfast on site."

"Had the suite room. All good. Only thing is that we were in the builiding on the other side so a little bit inconvenient where you have to go down to level 10 then walk all the way to the other building and then go to the allocated floor. At 21.00 they close the door in that building so if you are a smoker then you have to go all the way to the other buidling again so all in all not so convenient. Staff is great and location is good."

"The location and everything was great , if you are staying to get to Amsterdam just be aware that it is a little far and with no car, it’s about a train and bus away , and if you are coming back too late you are forced to take the taxi but back to the location Eveything was fantastic , staff was helpful and you are right by the beach so even better"
