Excellent place

We stayed here for one night. We are a family of 5 and the hostel was perfect for us. There were lots of young travellers but we saw a few families too. I'd definitely recommend; a good option with helpful staff.

Travelled as a family of 3 with a teenager, private room was clean and spacious. Location was a great base to explore the city. Staff were warm and friendly, lovely communal area and luggage storage available pre/post stay.

Really liked the hotel, the staff were lovely, room was clean, close to the metro so good access to everything, only thing to fault was the bar drinks are just too expensive, i feel like if they were cheaper it would of been a 5/5 experience.

Excellent accommodation - not a typical hostel at all. Really nice clean and well priced

Felt really comfortable in the hostel, good atmosphere, made a few new friends, safe environment. The location was also great near the train station.

Excellent friendly staff

Very busy , lots of student groups, comfort rooms offer a retreat

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Hostel for three nights and we loved it- perfect location and the most helpful staff, couldn’t recommend enough!

Staff were very friendly and social at all hours. They helped with suggesting places to visit off the beaten track and how to get there. Definitely would stay here again

Really friendly hostel everyone is on the right vibe could literally strike up a convo whilst waiting at the bar would highly recommend especially if your on your own or in a small group and looking for people to interact with. Beds were really comfortable the only thing I would say could be improved is if you had 2 plug sockets but that may have just been the room I had.

Great staff, i fell sick during one night. The receptionist staff was very helpful, helped me through night. I wanted to personally thank you the staff during checkout, however it was different staff at the desk at that time so i passed my message on them.

very nice people good for budget

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff. Great area. Wonderful experience for our family of 5.

Had a great time at the uptown hostel. Great location, lovely friendly staff. Will be booking again.

excellent place within economic budget

This property has the hostel vibe downstairs ... but upstairs it was very quiet. we stayed in a private room which was beautiful, with a view of the treetops in Oosterpark! It’s easily accessible by public transport! I can also recommend the breakfast both a la cart and the continental buffet!

I was happy for the help due to a misunderstanding. At checkout. Big thanks to Gabriel who took my call and helpled me out and also cruci who helped resolve the issues: Rooms are good size. Bed is comfortable. Recommending. Recommending.
