"Absolutely amazing. All the staff friendly and attentive. Game and River Safaris amazing, we were impressed with the knowledge of our guide Jeremiah. Lovely place to stay. Will come back one day. "
"A wonderful stay. Great room. Fantastic staff. The safaris were great.
The only disappointment was the food.
For what we were paying a night , we had expected better quality and a better selection of food."
"The property is older and rustic. This isn't a fancy resort. But it's clean, it met my needs, it felt safe and comfortable, and the staff were absolutely lovely in every respect. They arranged all of the activities and transportation I required, and made sure I was comfortable and happy throughout. It is excellent value for the money in an otherwise overpriced market! "
"Dr Jonas was fully involved in the planning of my various trips and even meals.
It was a nice place but needs painting ESP the reception area and to provide an enclosed meals area.
Staff were really friendly and warm."
"I really enjoyed my stay at Livingstone Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all requests. Service was great and I liked the open eating area and overall layout. "
"The rooms are spacious and kept very clean as well as well maintained. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had earlier breakfast than usual before we checked out, really customer care par excellence."
"The lodging was comfortable and clean. Nothing ornate but perfect for restful nights after active days. The breakfast was very good. The best part was the staff, they go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. "
"We stayed 5 nights at the Shrub, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff weee so friendly and helpful, the food was OK, the location 6 to 8 minutes drive to the city center, it’s walkable if not too hot during the fay, and the park entrance is around 12 minutes drive. The staff were very helpful in booking all the activities. It’s good value for money. "
"Lovely stay and a lovely property: nicely appointed rooms, very pleasant dining and lobby area, attentive and friendly staff. Owner also came around and met all the guests which was a nice touch. Only downer is the hotel is slightly distant from the town and falls - too far to walk in hot weather. But a great experience and good value for the cost. "
"If you want a nice hotel on the Zambezi River this is the place to stay. It is not in town and about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on where you are going. But very relaxing on the river. "
"This is an amazing little oasis in Vic Falls. The staff is very attentive, even helping us to book dinners and arrange taxis! Great breakfast each day and the rooftop bar was the perfect cherry “on top.” Special call out to Theresa who went out of her way to make our stay wonderful! "
"We had an amazing stay at Shongwe! Everyone was so helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our room, the food was great, and the spa services were top-notch! We enjoyed the Sunrise Bomba tour and bike ride. Would stay again!"

"Overall, I had an excellent experience at the Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge. Five Stars.
During my trip to Zimbabwe Victoria Falls, I stayed here three nights. The room was always clean, comfortable, and felt safe. The room also had a nice little refrigerator and a nice TV and a lot, and I mean a lot of closet space. The room was spacious, a lot of light and I felt very at home. I did not need a fancy upscale lodge and I have to say the price was extremely reasonable.
What really stood out was the staff — everyone I interacted with, housekeeping, bellmen, and reception was polite, friendly, and helpful-Grace and Anne. I want to mention specifically Knowledge – he was extra kind to me during my stay. Hospitality will be remembered.
When I’m back in Zimbabwe one day, which I hope is soon, I’ll definitely be staying at the Dzimbahwe Guest lodge again. For the quality and service, the price is very reasonable.

"Lovely staff, comfortable room, great home base for exploring area. Very safe and secure with staff going out of their way to help and make our stay great! "
"An excellent find which we were not expecting but beats all the competition for service, ambience and general quality. We will be back as this was truly an enjoyable experience by far. "
