"From the group of four who greeted us with smiles, a cool washcloth and efficient luggage service leading to a refreshing welcome drink in the beautiful veranda, everyone and everything at the Wallow lodge was delightful. Coming from three days camping in the bush, the ‘tents’ at Wallow Lodge were a welcome sight! All the room amenities, including the outdoor shower, were perfect. Only sorry we couldn’t stay longer. Thanks to Rejoice and MC for making our stay and our meals memorable in...
"If you want a nice hotel on the Zambezi River this is the place to stay. It is not in town and about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on where you are going. But very relaxing on the river. "
"Staff was friendly and helpful, room was adequate and breakfast was decent. Location is great for a value stay near the falls. Didn’t have hot water for showers in the morning but outside of that very happy with our stay. "
"Other than a couple of bugs in our room (somewhat expected), we had a great overnight stay at Shoestrings. Staff was nice, location was great (walkable to the falls!), and the restaurant/bar were great additions. "
"The care the staff took to ensure that we were well catered for. I stayed there for 4 days with my 4 year old and 16 year old daughter and they really went the extra mile - even making meals outside the set menu to accommodate my 4- year old. "

Explore the great outdoors at Victoria Falls National Park, a lovely green space in Victoria Falls. Discover the beautiful waterfalls in this walkable area.
Organise your trips and transport in advance. Be prepared for high prices (by African standards) due to the US$ economy + quite a lot of hassle from street sellers and market traders, who were not unpleasant but persistent. 3 nights was perfect.

Spend a full day at the falls starting at 7am so you get a variety of lighting and weather conditions . Relax at the cafe at the falls park for good food and service before you head out for a second or third look.

Son majestuosas. Creo que no requieres de guías o tours para conocerlas, el parque esta bien organizado y señalizado. No pueden perderse la visita a Chombe haciendo frotera con Botwana.

Busily busy small town but all you need as a tourist is there. Advise visitors to stay on the Zimbabwe side to really experience the whole area. The falls requires a good 4/5 hours to explore. Don't rush it. Dedicated cate half your day to it.

You cannot beat this experience, particularly when combined with a day trip safari to Chobe National Park in nearby Botswana. I never felt unsafe and the closest thing to a potential scam was people trying to sell me souvenirs. Highly recommended!

VF's tourist areas are lovely and wonderful. The township areas are testament to the economic hardships so many endure. The people are kind, generous, industrious and warm.

This is the fourth time I have been to Victoria Falls and love the area. (I enjoined when the elephants came visiting in the afternoon)
"Phil, the owner was incredibly gracious and welcoming and provided great information about the area and the history. The Concierge team was great - very knowledgeable about everything that we asked. Breakfas was great. While not next to the falls, it is in a very quiet area and quite easy and cheap to get to/from by taxi. Great value for the cost."
"We immensely enjoyed the stay at the hotel. The staff was so super helpful booking all her excursions and we had a trip of a lifetime. We can’t wait to come back and bring more friends and family with us. We think the lodge from the bottom of our hearts, and I’d rate the lodge a 10 out of 10."
"This is a great location and a great price for a hotel room. We were able to walk to the entrance of Victoria Falls park. There are several restaurants and lots of local artists shops to visit. The hotel has a nice breakfast menu. The room was very modern and clean. The AC was very quiet. The only negative thing was not much room for suitcases. "
