"Parking was secure although access was tight. One member of staff had a lukewarm attitude, others were lovely. Our room hadn't been decorated for a very long time and the bathroom was tiny. "
"Friendly welcome, we arrived early, safely left car and went for a wander around Lyme Regis. Our room was clean and tidy with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast - we have had better - service was a little slow (only 2 staff and 1 was providing room service) and food was average at best. Swimming pool & jacuzzi were great - you effectively booked for your private pool."

Room clean but shower was not cleaned properly around door sliders, and mouldy sealant around especially bottom edges of shower tray. Toilet seat was loose as something had either come loose or broken. A socket next to bedside cabinet broken so not working.
Building very close to park and walking so very good position."
"We stayed at the Bear Inn on 14th March 2026 for 2 nights. It is a very welcoming place. The atmosphere is very comforting and relaxed with helpul and friendly staff always willing to chat. In particular Hilary and Bayleigh were lovely and made our wedding anniversary special."
"Nicely renovated building next to station and a short walk to Town Centre. Large quiet room comfortably furnished. Staff very alert and helpful. No lift so stairs could be a problem for some."
"Very nice stay, value for money, but in our very small bedroom, the pokey en suite shower room had no place to put your toiletries and nowhere to hang up the towels, or toilet paper. Our bedroom faced the courtyard which was brightly lit all night, a blackout blind would have been nice.
The hotel staff where very friendly and hotel location is superb and had plenty of parking."
