"This hotel was absolutely amazing in size and with a warm, helpful and friendly reception staff. 😀 Ideally located, but for people like myself that struggle with mobility can be frustrating (nothing to do with the property), that said, if you can research the maps a bit there are ways of getting to it via uphill walk (some can be less steep depending on zig zagging slightly via back streets) because it involves the walking up quite alot of steps to access the hotel entrance. Back to the hotel which was impressive in size, location and well presented. My only issue is that is slightly bigger on price which could be managed tllhelp budget tourists (for example I think the price for the stay should include a free breakfast or discount for 35%.The room was clean and the windows too as I had a seaview one. Anyway in a nutshell I would highly recommend this property. 😃"

"Free parking. Close enough for town and the beach (15 min walk). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pub and food onsite were good. Would visit again."

"Room was clean and view was excellent overlooking the sea. Breakfast very good and dining room clean, bright and well appointed. Staff were pleasant although reception area not the best as they were sat in a cupboard and you spoke to them through a hatch which wasn't great."

"First time to Saltmoore, although visited in the past when it was Raithwaite Hall. Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Beach House. Nice big room. We did not try the leisure facilities, as we were happy in the fresh ai,r walking along the beaches to Sandsend & Whitby. The weather was good, which helps too. We did eat in the Brasserie, which was excellent. It’s good to not pay over the odds for drinks too. A lovely place to visit and we will return."
