The Ramada is a good choice for a stay in Wrexham. It's conveniently located near the Racecourse grounds and downtown depending on your trip. The hotel is clean and modern. The restaurant is good for dinner and breakfast. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Wrexham.

We are regulars to the Ramada Plaza mainly due to; Location Free parking Air conditioning Big comfy bed - Executive King rm My husband loves the Sauna and I was thrilled to see the Jacuzzi was back in operation! Only negative is that the prices have increased significantly; especially for the King Suites. This is probably due to the popularity of Wrexham FC (hotel very close to the football ground) We keep an eye on prices well in advance and usually manage to get good deals on non match weekends especially if we book well in advance advance, Back again in October!

Overall good but with a few issues. The shower rail/curtain was defective allowing exposed wood frame to rot. Torn curtain and scuffed walls. The duvet was torn. The lamp bulbs were old gas filled and not Leds. Breakfast was better on Monday than the weekend. Positive points , the food at the bar was great and the staff were friendly. Parking was great. Probably wouldn't stay again.

We needed a room at the last minute, so we had to book an Executive Room. It had a bit more luxury than usual, for a higher fee of course. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, though some of the bathroom fittings were a bit 'style over substance'. The sink taps are fine once you understand how to use them, but what's wrong with a plain mixer tap? Similarly the shower/bath contraption looks great, but took a lot of working out, and while running a bath the shower head continued too. We had the buffet breakfast, which was good - apart from the tea and coffee. They were dispensed from those awful pump action pots... half strength instant coffee does not cut the mustard! Other than these small things, I'd recommend the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in Wrexham.

We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath. Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each. It was good value for money overall and convenient for a stroll into town to catch the shuttle bus to Llangollen Pavilion. Would imagine it gets very busy on match days as it is close to the Race Course ground.
