The house itself is well located however there was no communication or option to contact anyone. Upon arrival we discovered that the parking outside the house was residents only and you required a permit (not provided, not forewarned) It was late at night and in the middle of London with two small children and no idea where the nearest car park was we decided to chance leaving the car overnight, making sure we moved by 8.00 the following morning. We fortunately managed to do this before the ticket inspector came, but a neighbouring holiday maker was not so lucky. Some information in advance about where to park safely would have been appreciated.
The Owner of the property is not contactable during the course of your stay, they have removed the thermostat so there is no possible way of putting the heat on (we were cold!) the kitchen sink tap did not work, the bathroom sink was blocked and smelly, there was no handsoap or toilet roll left in the property (its a pandemic and basic hygiene facilities should surely be supplied) We had to brush our teeth over the bath.
The owner has also removed the telephone cable to the wifi box, so there is no internet at the property. There is no TV aerial, so the Smart TV in the front room is pointless and cannot be used.
We did try to contact a mobile number that came through on an email (looked like an agency number) but no reply to calls or texts. Whilst generally being clean, the lack of facilities felt mean and inconsiderate.
