"Stressful Hotel charged my card without my authorization, had to put in a claim through the card company. It is quick to charge my card but takes it awhile to get it back put on and incur charges. keep an eye on your account not sure what's going on here Other than that, it was a comfortable stay. Close to interstate and restaurants."

"The hotel was well situated. We found a very nice Italian restaurant less than a mile away and were able to make a reservation. We liked the room’s size and layout. My only complaint is that the sofa was made for very tall people. My back did not reach the back of the sofa. I am 5’6” tall. One or more big, thick cushions would have given my back support. Another chair designed for people of average height would also have helped."

"Staff was very nice at check-in. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so we had to haul our bags & bikes to the second floor. Room was very small, but adequate. (Water pressure in shower was strong and the shower head did not adjust, so it pelted you) Lobby and grand staircase were beautiful, and there was plenty of convenient parking. (Pool was not open yet, just a tad bit too cold yet) Overall, a nice place to stay for a night or two. *Note: Property is approximately 40 minutes from Old Rag trailhead."

This Wyndham so much better quality than the Wyndham we stayed at in Savannah, GA. Uno Pizzaria - connected to hotel - terrible service and food"

"I recently traveled to Winchester, Virginia to participate in a Bishop's Event, i.e., the "Third Winchester Battlefield 5k/10k/Half Marathon" event to raise money for a great charity, i.e., twenty-five percent of any profits scheduled to be received by a charity that provides assistance to medical researchers and/or patients in need of an organ transplant. I thought the Courtyard by Marriot Winchester was a lovely place to stay and I had a day or so to rest up for my event plus also enjoyed walking around the local area, not far from a nearby hospital/surgical center behind the hotel plus some very nice shop (e.g., a Walmart, a gas station, and several small restaurants, e.g., an Applebee's, a "Bojangles" fried chicken place, an IHOP and two banks in the shopping center just a few short steps away, i.e., adjacent to the hotel. So, I enjoyed a little bit of shopping, purchased a couple of cool cotton t shirts and shorts for the summer months. I also thought the people at the front desk of the hotel were very welcoming and gracious, happily informing me of the fact that the local apple blossom festival which had just started and numerous activities that would be occurring to kick-start this annual festival in the local Winchester area. (I didn't attend any of these events but it was nice to know others would be enjoying a very special time or weekend and although I was there for a different reason, it all combined to create a pleasant, welcoming and quiet atmosphere.) "5 out of 5 stars Rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff were very helpful and kind. Everything within a 5 minute distance from hotel. Breakfast had a great selection of food including bagels, cereals, fruits, muffins, and eggs. Check in and check out was a breeze since you were able to do it through your phone. Pool was a nice temperature as well and very clean. If we ever come back to Winchester, we will definitely be staying here again."
