Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case."

"We had everything we needed to make our stay a really good one. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was catered for kitchen wise. "We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

"Hotel in a great location not far from the train station, close to the shops, a few pubs and eateries including Betty's Tea Rooms which i could see from my 4th floor Deluxe Double room. Hotel lobby, bar and restaurant absolutely lovely decor, room decor was very plain but clean, not sure the extra cost from standard double to deluxe was worth the money, on hotels.com it states there is Netflix available however this is not the case and the TV just had regular channels, I think a little fridge with free bottled water would have been great and would have been worth the extra money for the deluxe room. There were 2 lifts however for both days of my stay only 1 was working and the lift is tiny - It is a maximum 2 person lift but if you have bags bigger than a cabin bag you will struggle to get you all in. the hotel is not very accessible to people with limited mobility or a wheelchair user, even though i have no major issues with mobility myself i could see how someone who does would struggle, the age of the building probably restricts what accessible features they could have. Please don't take my review as being negative, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are very pleasant. areas are clean"
