"We have always stayed in hotels when we have travelled to Portland in the past, but we have been curious about trying this guest house, and on our recent trip, we finally tried it. What a pleasant surprise! The room was very comfortable, the self-service kitchen was well stocked with various food items to feed the guests with cereals, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. It had the feel of staying in the guest room at a friend's house. Very sweet. We will stay there again the next time we visit Portland."

"I didn’t realize (probably my mistake)that we would be sharing a bathroom with one other room, but they have it so well organized and nice an clean that it wasn’t a problem at all. Everything here is Super eco friendly and the kitchen is amazing and there is food for all dietary needs. I would totally stay here again, although maybe get the room with its own bathroom"

"This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. "Boutique hotel near a streetcar stop. Clean room with full kitchen and den area. Extremely comfortable bed. The decor is funky but fun. Due to Portland being in the news so much, I googled “safe place to stay in Portland” and I felt safe here although they did warn us not to leave anything visible in our car. "

"Very friendly staff and had good communication throughout my stay. I accidentally left my new Sonicare toothbrush and they called me letting me know that they would hold it for me. I appreciated the overall hospitality from the staff. Dog friendly rooms that were clean and didn’t smell bad like some pet friendly hotels do. Breakfast was decent. Good location and good place to stay. I will return if I’m ever back in the area. "
