"Foyer / front desk area is beautiful. Fireplace w/ coach seating for enjoying an evening. Hot tub was great. The front desk gal, Ramona ( 5 pm shift on Monday) was awesome. She was back on Tuesday morning at 5am. Great service, friendly w/ a smile. Breakfast was on time & hot. Christmas tree is up, bringing a state of cheer & spirit to the hotel "

"I cannot recommend this enough for first time Grand Canyon visitors. The train ride is serene and the time spent at the canyon is just right. The gore itself is beautiful and is perfect for the holiday season. It was decorated with lots of Christmas decor and a big fireplace. There is Christmas music playing everywhere and you have a feeling of a cozy mountain retreat. There are drinks and food available in the lobby adjacent bar. The train should be booked ahead of time, but boarding is super convenient and there is buffet and quick serve food available in the station. The station is on the same grounds as the hotel."
