"It was a nice place to stay. Lots to see and do. We had a beautiful view of the river. There was a party on our floor. We had to phone the front desk about the noise. It took about a half an hour for the party to move elsewhere. The phone in the room did not work. We used our cell phone to call the front desk. If there was an emergency I would have wanted to contact the front desk a lot faster than it took for me to figure out the phone wasn't working and finding the hotel number. "

The staff were amazing at check in ( especially Angela) valet, and the onsite restaurant,Hamilton. It was a great experience. I even extended my stay. It’s a short Lyft ride into downtown and walkable to outside restaurants and MGM Casino."

"Wonderful staff and a beautiful property. We stayed in the bunkbed room which was perfect for two adults going to a concert. They even have little privacy curtains that you can pull closed, and outlets for both the top and bottom bunk. We grabbed a cocktail at the bar, Candy Bar which was beautiful but you absolutely need a reservation. Fantastic staff, Detroit has some of the best hospitality and every single person I talked to at the hotel was great. "

"While I enjoy the room amenities, not having room service after 11pm, seems odd for a MGM property, especially a 24/7 casino. Additionally the TAP restaurant should have some all-day breakfast items or a breakfast menu beyond 11am, as some folks checkout at 11am and look forward to breakfast but have to go to an external restaurant."

"Had a wonderful stay at Double Tree by Hilton in Windsor Ontario Reception was really helpful the on site resturaunt was delicous amazing buffet breakfast .The bed was comfortable ,house keeping brought us extra cups and pillows to our room .The walk in shower was great good preasure and spacious enough for 2 .A bonus that there is luxurious shampoo, conditioner ,bodywash body lotion and a hair dryer would definitly stay here again beautiful romantic riverside view. "This is a good hotel stay for the price, conveniently located, and with free breakfast. There is a pool that my son enjoyed and where the facility was clean in spite of looking a little dated. We did find a small dead bug in the bathroom and the elevator was not working during the morning we checked out, which was inconvenient for us as we tried to haul our luggage, a baby, and a stroller. Overall, a good stay for the price."
