Great hotel, excellent staff, great food, good location on the river

A little difficult to find the road up to the place but a wonderful location with great views. It’s out of town so if you’re not dining there you’ll need to drive to one of the many local restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is actually closed in a Monday and Tuesday which was a pity as we were looking forward to a nice evening meal. The wine on offer is amazing as you would have guessed. If you're staying in Frankfurt for a few days, this is a really nice place to stay in a safe area that makes travelling easy. The location is great for accessing public transport, walking to the main shopping area and getting to the old town. Nice staff and lovely hotel

Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!

Everything was very pleasant: clean and comfortable. The magnificent nature and the ancient tower create an unforgettable impression! I would like to note the friendliness of the staff. The staff, and I mean everyone employed in the Hotel, were perfect - polite and cordial, uniformed, informative, pleasant and helpful. This is how staff should be in a good quality Hotel. Our room was excellent, the bathroom superb. All the personal amenities were provided and of good quality. We have just stayed at this hotel for the second time which probably says something in itself! The rooms are excellent - spacious, immaculately clean and very functional. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location - literally two minutes from the Schloss and not much more than five minutes from the main shopping area is perfect for a stay in Darmstadt.
