"The Little Haven Hotel next to the beach in South Shields is clean and quiet. The High Street, Metro, and North Shields Ferry are within easy walking distance. The cost of our stay included breakfast. The variety of food options was good."

"Superb position, you can hear the waves crashing as you leave the hotel, with stunning views across the road. Even dived in the inviting looking North Sea, which is invigorating! Parking is limited, but is free after 6pm at a large carpark a short stroll away. Excellent cooked breakfast from 6:30 to 10am which suited my fine - really friendly staff; even asked if I needed anything for my room each day which was a lovely touch. Room in need of a bit of decorating, but was very clean and provided everything I needed including tea/coffee making facility. Very good fish and chip shop nearby but look out for the starlings - they're actually very sweet! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Whitley Bay! "
