"This hotel was just mins walk away to the beach of Whitley Bay. It's an older hotel and a very good price. Nothing fancy but clean, quiet and plenty of shopping near by. Staff was very nice and friendly. It was just a 1 night stay to enjoy the relaxing sea rather than a busy city and long my journey up the coast line of England to Bamburgh Castle."

"Lovely apartment, key pick up will be after 4pm Monday to Thursday as the bar is closed beforehand. There is NO ALLOCATED PARKING PERMIT. Staff are lovely at the two businesses downstairs which offer 10% discount for anyone staying here. We lived the apartment so much, it's got a great vibe and had everything we required."

"Good location although no dedicated parking, although the owner did provide parking vouchers to allow street parking, however due to busy school holidays and roadworks this was a bit problematic. Good communication from owner on check-in/entry to apartments. Our unit was up several flights of narrow steep stairs, and although two chair lifts were present there was still an intermediate set of stairs that weren’t covered - the chair lifts restricted ability to walk up the stairs with a suitcase safely. Kitchen well appointed although compact and crowded eating/sitting/cooking area. Only provided decaffeinated coffee along with caffeinated and decaf tea, however good to provide drinking chocolate. Close to beaches, shops and rail."
