"After a long bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Nashville, we stayed at The Salt Ranch for our last night, and it was the perfect way to end the trip. Shazad helped check us in, welcomed us back at the bar, recommended drinks for us, and was honestly such a delight the entire time. Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home after a crazy weekend. Great customer service truly makes a difference, and he definitely did that for us. We’ll absolutely be back on our next trip! My mom lives next door so I will make sure to recommend all her guests and anyone else to salt ranch!"

"Terrible. Our Lyft driver immediately warned us it wasn’t safe and he was wildly right. The lobby smelled awful, rundown is a complete understatement, and set the tone for what became the fastest hotel checkout of my life. I will say the staff at the front desk was friendly enough and I genuinely felt bad for them. They were polite and clearly doing their best in a place that has been neglected beyond repair. But friendliness can’t compensate for a hotel that feels like it’s been abandoned by management, maintenance, and basic hygiene and safety standards. The rooms had weird rubber carpet runners stapled to the walls that were half falling off or completely detached. I’m convinced that’s where the cockroaches live (based on other reviews we read). The room itself was a disaster: curly black hairs in the sheets, holes in the bedding, stains everywhere, dusty surfaces, cobwebs in the corners, missing bathroom tiles, and an outlet that looked like a fire hazard. Within minutes, our throats felt scratchy and we suspect it was mold. We stayed for all of two minutes before booking another hotel for our own safety and hygiene. When we called to let the staff know we left, it felt like they were used to guests checking in, taking one look around, and immediately checking out. They approved a full refund right away. I want to emphasize this again: this hotel is not safe. Not safe to sleep in. Not safe to breathe in. Not safe to walk through. Not safe to touch anything. Just no."

"The hotel was not what i remembered it to be when i was in school in the late 90’s. Staff was excellent however the hotel is in dire need of renovations. It was fairly clean however the fixtures and furniture were outdated."

"Breakfast was just cereal. Our door would shut but had a gap and it made opening the door hard because it kept catching on the locking mechanism. "

"Incredibly overpriced for the experience. First of all, they made me pay extra to park on the premises- something that was NOT included anywhere in the listing and booking information. Parking was crowded and insecure. There was vomit on the stairways. Walls were INCREDIBLY thin. Worst of all, we were woken up on Sunday morning by the mega church right next to the hotel blaring the sermon through OUTDOOR SPEAKERS so everyone had to listen to their homophobic sermons whether they wanted to attend or not. $450 for a 2 night stay when this is what we got? Stay away."

"Overall, this was a decent stay. The staff was pleasant and as helpful as possible. Over all the property is clean and well maintained. My issue was with the AC unit in my room. It was stuck on 65 and despite staff coming to try to fix it they weren't able to. I was able to get by, but wasn't offered a new room. This made the stay manageable, but not great."
