Perfect stay!

Julia and Paul were fantastic hosts. The room was comfortable, bathroom clean and functional. Amazing breakfast with plenty of coffee and juice! Would very much recommend!

We had a lovely stay here 5 minute walk into town. The room was excellent & decorated to a very high standard, lots of tea & coffee, also bottles of water provided. Lots of choice for breakfast. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommended.

Lovely few nights away. The room was really nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s in walking distance to everything which made it super easy to go back and forth if need be. The owners were really friendly as well. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic hosts, running a superb guest house. So welcoming and friendly and very attentive. Spacious room with everything we needed. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect. Well cooked, fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This has to be the best B B i have been to. Paul and Julia are the best hosts, we felt like we were friends visiting. They made us so welcome. The breakfast was absolutely great. And the room was spacious clean and very comfortable. We can highly recommend Glenora. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Paul and Julia run a lovely house. They were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with a lovely new shower. The bus stop is right out the front door and Pannett Park with its Whitby museum are within a 2 minute walk. Town is less than 10 minutes on foot. Breakfast was wonderful each day and my only regret is not planning a longer stay!

Spotless room, excellent breakfast, amazing hosts.

A weekend away to celebrate our 31st anniversary started with the poring rain which didn't stop all weekend! We met our hosts Julia and Paul on arrival and were shown our immaculate room on the first floor, spotless, large room with two chairs for a comfortable seat whilst watching a bit of TV. Breakfast is/was pre order which we think is the best option. Quick and delicious. Everything was to perfection. Julia and Paul couldn't do enough for any of their guests. Thank you for a great weekend away [apart from the wind and rain].

The service, Julia was a wonderful host, and gave me an upgraded room which was lovely and en-suite. This was an extremely good, and professional thing to do, as the property, was empty of guests at the time. The breakfasts were fine, and on-time, and Julia and Paul were excellent hosts, who recommended a great place for a meal, and supplied my own keys, as well as treating me to an Hot Chocolate. The parking round the area, would have worried me, but I managed to get a space at the front of the building. All in all, I could not have asked, for a better place too stay, or better service. I would go back in a flash, but they are hoping to sell up.

Pleasant vacation

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Glenora, a solo trip which was most enjoyable. Julia was a perfect host who prepared a substantial breakfast which sustained me until an evening meal. Would definitely return.

Great hosts

Great host everything was not to much trouble, made you feel very welcome, always asking if you need anything room was very clen & compy the guest house was very clean and well kept julie the host was very friendly & chatty made sure you had enough to eat, it was 5 mins walk to harbour would highly recommend it to stay, when i go back will be staying there again, weather your a family or solo they make you very welcome cant thank them enough for everything

Highly recommended Guest House.

Good location 10 minutes walk to centre of Whitby. Free on site parking. Host very welcoming and very accommodating. Very good breakfast! Nice large ground floor room. A little noisy with roadside traffic in the morning.

Wonderful Whitby

The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Wonderful breakfast it set us up for the day. Room was big and very clean.Ideal location for the town centre or the beach. Would definitely return.
