Michelle, the Hotel Manager made all the difference to our stay there. She was so involved and helpful about our trip. Very good advice, helped us in a lot of things. She also took the trouble of checking and ensuring the rest of the trip after Rotorua was all planned well and helped us take care of a couple of issues that we might have faced. Really nice hotel, conveniently located near Te Pua geothermal park. We all loved the room,which was perfect for a family of 4. The breakfast was really good with lots of varieties and really tasty. The special addition was the outdoors heated pool which we all loved and wish we could stay longer to enjoy.

This is a slightly tired and dated motel, but for the price paid we cannot complain. The “spa tub” bath has seen better days , and we would not have wanted to sit in it, but for showering it was acceptable. We slept very well as the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

What a great apartment. Spotlessly clean and in great condition with excellent facilities, comfortable, spacious and a joy to stay in. Location is great near to all top attractions and easy drive to shops, restaurants ( would recommend Eat Street). Neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Information from owners is spot on in advance and access easy so no hassle settling in. We would thoroughly recommend Redwood Apartments and if we are in Rotorura again it will be our first place to stay.

Spacious rooms, wonderful bathroom with walk in shower and spa pool. Immaculately clean. Toiletries provided plus coffee/tea etc. Full cooking facilities. Everything you need really. Great location.

This was a base for us to explore Rotorua and nearby during a 3 day visit. Nice hotel that was really central, just a few minutes walk to restaurants, a supermarket and shopping centre and most of the tour companies were in the next street. We had a nice balcony and a hot tub.
