"Room was clean Staff was helpful Breakfast was very good Outdoor look nice The only problem was that there was no fridge in the room and with that hot weather this was not helpful Also there was no lift and we had to carry our luggage upstairs We are all elderly one with heart problem This was not a help as we had to go up a lot I was very worried about my friend with heart problem"

"Location excellent for attractions. Reception was nice and a bit quirky. Room was a bit bland although recently refurbished. Breakfast was adequate. Air conditioning in the room would have been nice, a fan was provided. If the temperature had been any warmer it could have been a problem. We managed to get free parking at the front of the hotel which was a bonus, spaces were limited."

"We stayed here for one night, the hotel is in a great location, we found it peaceful, clean and comfortable, the guy that runs it is so helpful and very jolly, we were very pleased that our touring bikes could be safely stored in a locked back yard with no proplems, I paticularly liked that there is a community tea coffee station, with sweetie vending machine and table and chairs to eat grub if you didn't fancy going out and disposable cutlery, thank you for a pleasent good value hotel"

"Hotel is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Rooms were fine, with enough space and necessary facilities. We needed three rooms, and staff had arranged that they were three adjacent rooms, which was good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very accommodating - we needed some breakfasts to take away for some of our party who were out running during breakfast service. Evening meal and service in bar were also good, even though it was a busy evening. We would definitely return to the Red Lion when we are in Fareham in future."

"A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou."
