The lodge sits above a crater lake and offers amazing views. The rooms are spacious and have views of the lake. There is no fan or air conditioning in the room and internet and charging can only be done in the lobby area. Check in was poor and confused. Near the chimps (25 min drive). Service as a whole was inconsistent.

It was a lovely experience staying at Engiri. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Our room was simple but spacious with a terrace to sit on. The food catered for us as vegetarian and was all freshly prepared and delicious. The outdoor seating in the restaurant was a nice place to dine. The staff is so friendly and attentive. It was great to see the occasional elephant on site. The lodge arranged our boat safari on Kazinga Channel which was a fantastic experience and so economical. Other activities...

Nice properly with beautiful green natural surroundings. Staff for dining were very slow. Buffet items were finished or cold when we got there and no effort to refill. Lunch only given choice of a la carte while others had buffet with lot of choice.Hans kept refusing any orders we requested as vegetarian including making a sandwich which despite explaining thoroughly he got it wrong.

We highly recommend BellaVista hotel – great location with amazing crater view, both from the room and of course from the 360 degree restaurant viewpoint.
Hotel team is very friendly, caring, patient & attentive (they took care of our family so nicely, making us feel at home).
The restaurant serves the tastiest dishes, we thought we're in an Italian restaurant.
The room was very clean & comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay (5 days) very much, and would like to thanks the team for a wonderful stay...

A lovely place with spacious rooms in very close proximity to Queen Elizabeth Park. Staff were also helpful and very friendly. Rooms are secluded with their own verandahs.

Staff very helpful. Location quiet and convenient. Food was good one waitress very helpful and made things easy. Manager excellent too. Has a sauna
Room quite small but air-conditioning worked. Shower on bath not effective needs work, work on the shower head as lots of pressure but little water comes through. Wifi very slow but ok for messages
