"A nice property, but certain aspects could be improved. The staff were friendly and attentive, the property's location is beatiful and fun with the occasional hippos showing up in the garden. The "room" was spacious and offered good privacy. "My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....

"The grounds were absolutely stunning at the hotel! The rooms were very large with all the amenities you could need. We did have a couple of issues with bugs indoors but I’m sure that goes along with the thatched roof. The restaurant had an amazing variety of good food on the buffet. The thing that takes this place to the top is their service and the wonderful people they employ. We arrived at around 11:00 pm after a grueling drive. I’m sure everyone was tired and wanting to call it a night....
