I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the ideal base for a stay in Bologna. The room was immaculate and finished to a very high standard. We were warmly welcomed by the hotel manager on available. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was spotless, the hostess Monica was super kind and helpful with everything, the room had everything I could need and the public transport was very close to the place. Amazing stay

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, returning to the UK on 30th October. The hotel truly lives up to its five stars. Everything, from the room, the restaurant, the facilities are excellent - however there are two things which really stand out: firstly the staff - they are amazing. They will do anything to help and they do it with a genuine smile. This applies to the lovely gentleman who opens the front doors, to the reception staff, to the breakfast staff. Secondly, don't miss breakfast!!...

We stayed here a few years ago and, having had a good experience, re-booked this year for a couple of nights in Bologna on our way home. Situation wise- it's convenient as it's close to the airport ( taxi less than 20 euro even at 5am) and walkable into the centre. Several local shops on the road in to the centre- supermarket and excellent Gelateria. It's a cheap place to stay and considering what you get it is good value. The main thing i liked about the property is modern and stylish and very close to all amnesty. Eventhough we haven't used their restaurants for those who wants they do have restaurants and bar available. The staff speak perfect english and are very helpful. The room is clean but the toilets look dated and had some issues with the flash, basically the water doesn't stop running. I am sure it has been fixed by now, because they have a guy who goes around the rooms and check for faults.

This was our first time in Bologna and we knew nothing about the city’s hotels. Now having been there, we’re so glad we chose the Aemilia hotel. It’s a little outside the old centre but only a 10-15 minute walk from all the sights. Being outside the centre means that it’s quiet at night. Great location in quiet street near main square. Usual Arthotel quirky and distinctive room decor. Comfortable junior suite with unusually efficient daily room cleaning service. Excellent breakfast offering. Efficient and helpful reception. Elevator unreliable but otherwise all good.

Fantastic location just off Piazza Maggiore, very friendly staff, comfortable room with amenities. Can't fault it really.

The attention and helpfulness of the staff. Very friendly, efficient and courteous. Everyone in the hotel "did their bit" including the staff who cleaned the rooms. Excellent! Would thoroughly recommend.

It is next to the motorway but that didn't stop us sleeping. It is very basic but clean and friendly. We had a room at the top. Initially we are given an upgrade to a room with a sauna but someone had been smoking in it. After breakfast on two days we spent a lovely time on the terrace with me playing on my computer and my wfe painting. Not far the motorway! Served us well

Everything was perfect from location of hotel to the rooms and service provided would definitely stay again and recommend when staying in Bologna

Centrally located near lots of great bars and restaurants. Lovely clean apartments and well equipped. Do read the information in the kitchen. All the wine left in the fridge and kitchen is chargeable if you did not book through their website. Would have been nice to be free for all guests. Also ensure you use the shower mat when stepping out of the shower. The bathroom floor when wet is like an ice rink and unbelievably slippy. Nearly had a nasty fall.

This was perfect for a short stay in Bologna. Well situated for sightseeing, restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment was well equipped,very clean and had excellent air conditioning which was very welcome given the extremely high temperatures during our visit. Contact with the office by phone was a little frustrating as they seemed to have difficulty establishing who we were and where we were staying.
